So many things to be thankful for! Family. Another year that we have survived on this planet. Good health and good spirits. New relationships formed and friendships created. But also remember to give thanks. Thank those who cannot be here spending time woth their family and loved ones. Those over seas defending our country from organizations who would see us unable to celebrate such a blessed holiday. Thank the men anf women working on thanksgiving and who might be unavailable to participate in the merriment pf thanksgiving because working and making sure bills get paid sometimes doesn’t stop just because of the holidays. And its a shame it truly is. We can work all year round and barely make enough lo live on. Some of us living paycheck t0 paycheck. Some of us even unable to live to our next paycheck. So give thanks for the little things in your lives ..the things that make you proud to love in the United States. The things that make you proud to be an American. And understand that somewhere, someone might be lost in the darkness and if you can be a beacon of light to someone in need. Would you?

Introduction
Hello all! So this is my first entry on this blog, very exciting! So a little about myself: I am a 24 year old undergrad in Sociology with a concentration in criminal deviance. I am a member of the U.S. Army National Guard and can honestly say that it has been a driving force behind my making life changes which have helped me become a better version of myself. I currently have an occupation as head chef at a local restaurant and am on my way to making that a career for myself – just kind of stumbled into that actually, and am very hopeful that I can achieve my goals successfully. I chose to begin this blog not just because I enjoy writing (which I do), but as a way for those who happen across my page to be able to take some life advice for situations that they might find as similar and maybe it would be able to help them out of a stressful situation. My life is complicated and I have certainly made my fair share of mistakes; I mean, were all human right? We all travel down different roads which fork off in many different directions and ultimately, we have to decide which path we would rather walk. So ask yourself, would you rather take the hazardous path towards your goals, a path which requires more fortitude and courage, or the straight path, the easy way?
